### **Timing Belt P**ulleys

### How do timing belt pulleys work?

Timing belt pulleys have either teeth or pockets around the outside diameter. The timing teeth engage holes in the timing belt, while timing pockets engage drive lugs (fasteners) on a belt's inner circumference.
