RS Components drops prices on more than 70,000 electronics components in Australia and New Zealand
Over 30,000 parts decrease in price by more than 25%, providing exceptional value for money to customers

RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), the world’s leading high service distributor of electronics and maintenance products, today announced substantial price reductions across its range of electronics components in Australia and New Zealand.
Headline reductions in price are now available to Australia/New Zealand customers on more than 70,000 products in RS Components’ electronics portfolio, covering all electronics technology groups. Price cuts in excess of 25% are being offered on over 30,000 parts, this includes over 10,000 Integrated Circuits (IC’s) from major brands such as Texas Instruments, Microchip, National Semiconductor, Toshiba, and NXP
Jeremy Edward, Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand, at RS Components, commented, “As part of our value proposition we have always kept our prices the same throughout a 12 month cycle, however due to the big currency fluctuation between our currencies and the US dollar, we’ve had customers telling us we need to adjust our prices to be more competitive. So, we listened and made the changes.”
