Zinc-free Bosch Rexroth replacement filter elements now in stock at RS Components

New range of 100 high-quality filter elements, suitable for hydraulic fluids, lubricants and gases, help hard-working equipment perform better for longer

RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), the global distributor for engineers, has introduced 100 extra replacement filter elements from Bosch Rexroth in popular industry-standard and special sizes, giving customers convenient access to high-quality filtration for optimum equipment performance and longevity.

Industry-standard DIN 24550 sizes from 0040 to 1000, and additional sizes from 0004 to 2500, ensure superior contamination protection for many types of equipment used in applications such as materials handling, industrial processes, shipyard or garage equipment, agriculture, and oil and field equipment. The filter elements are suitable for use in hydraulic and lube oil systems. Particle-size ratings range from 1μm to 800μm, and filter area up to 4.8m².

The entire range of Bosch Rexroth filter elements now available from RS is zinc-free, which ensures superior protection for use with water-containing fluids (HFA/HFC) or synthetic oils, and is stipulated by many manufacturers of machinery used with rapidly bio-degradable hydraulic oils. Zinc-free allows these filter elements to be used universally with typical hydraulic fluids and oils, and prevents early “element blocking” thereby ensuring a considerably extended lifecycle.
