Molex MXP120™ Sealed Blade Connectors

MXP120 range of high performance sealed wire to wire automotive connectors designed for use in harsh environments in the automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturing industry. These MXP120 automotive connectors have a space saving package that meets USCAR specifications and power requirements of up to 13.0A. With 1.20 mm terminals on a 4mm pitch the MXP120 sealed automotive connector system offers significant space savings compared to existing 1.5mm connection systems. The MXP120 connector system uses single wire seals (SWS) and robust perimeter seals giving them an IP68 rating and able to withstand high-pressure spray environments. The MXP120 blade connectors feature Primary Lock Reinforcement (PLR) which provides secure terminal positioning and helps to detect terminals that are only partially installed. 7mm (USCAR) clip slots are also incorporated into the MXP120 plug connector design. Stock numbers 918-2044 and 918-2063 have 11mm (MX150) clip slots. These MXP120 plug connectors are available with various keying options to aid accurate alignment and mating (refer to manufactures datasheet on our website for details)
For suitable crimp terminals use TE Connectivity 1.2 CB SWS blade terminals.

Applications

The compact and robust design of these MXP120 automotive connectors makes them ideal for use in space-constrained body electronics and powertrain applications in the automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturing industry.

Body electronics connections in wet areas T3-V1-S2 with tin terminals; T3-V2-S2 with silver terminals. Applications include exterior lighting, indicators and door lock mechanisms.
Powertrain (T3-V2-S2 125°C on engine vibration. Applications include fuel injection, emission controls, ignition coils
