This male N-type connector from our trusted RS PRO range is a sturdy radio-frequency (RF) connector that's used to join coaxial cables together. Coaxial cables (or coax cables) transmit RF signals from one point to another and are commonly used by internet providers and telephone companies.

When used with a female connector of the same type, this flange-mounting N-connector allows you to create secure coaxial connections. This helps to convey data, video and crisp voice communications.

The connector can be soldered onto flexible and semi-rigid cables. It's designed to minimise the passive intermodulation (PIM) that can cause signal distortion in coaxial transmission networks.

As it also features low-loss construction and waterproof protection, this connector is extremely robust and works well in harsh environments. It has a maximum operating frequency of 11GHz so it offers great performance when used for instrumentation, satellite or broadcast applications.
