The barrette needle file has a tapered shape, and cuts only on one side, which is ideal from protecting a workpiece from accidental cutting. It is typically used for filing and smoothing of metals. This single cut file is designed for smooth and fine applications.

This set contains five different barrette files of differing sizes, and is supplied in a plastic wallet.

The files have thin handles that can be combined with filehandles for further comfort and control, such as the RS PRO ABS File Handle (734-416.)
