MIT500 Series Industrial Insulation Testers - 5 and 10kV

Robust and reliable testers for high performance in the real-world. The new MIT series: MIT515, MIT525, MIT1025 are designed for industrial and power distribution applications.

The New MIT 515 (763-9267) instrument can be used to perform both simple Go No-Go insulation tests and basic diagnostic insulation tests such as Polarisation Index (PI).

There are two new advanced models: MIT 525 (763-9260) and MIT1025 (763-9264) with memory and diagnostic insulation testing. The 10 kV MIT1025 is suited to more rigorous testing of higher voltage equipment. The 5kV models test to 10TOhm while the 10kV models will test to 20TOhm and all instruments have a fully specified guard terminal/circuit to allow accurate results in a wide range of test situations. You can test from battery or from AC power and benefit from a long battery life and a rapid recharge time. To assist with storing and trending results, both the MIT525 and MIT1025 include memory and download to PC via USB, as well as additional diagnostic tests, such as Step Voltage (SV) and ramp test.
