MAX31865 Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) to Digital Converter

The MAX31865 series from Maxim Integrated is a resistance-to-digital converter optimized for platinum resistance temperature detectors (RTDs). This device also utilises a precision delta-sigma analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) to convert the ratio of the RTD resistance versus the reference resistance into digital form. This reference resistance is set through the application of an external resistor.

Applications can include; Industrial equipment, medical equipment & instrumentation.
