RS PRO Red 0.75 mm² Test Lead Wire, 18 AWG, 149/0.08 mm, 25m, Silicone Rubber Insulation

This high-temperature silicone rubber cable from the RS PRO range is used in test and monitoring equipment. It can be used in environments where elevated temperatures or harsh conditions such as radiation or oils are likely to occur.

The core comprises 149 flexible tinned annealed stranded copper conductors. The flexible outer sheath is made from durable silicone rubber that can withstand extremes of heat and cold without melting or cracking. This makes the cable safe to use at extreme temperatures ranging from -55°C to +200°C. It's available in a length of 25 metres and has an outer diameter of 3.3 mm.

This test lead wire conforms the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements and ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards. That means that it's flame-retardant and won't release toxic gas in the event of a fire. You'll find it used in heavy industry and manufacturing.
