RS attended this event with their immersive stand which included a RS PRO product showcase; and a fun addition: a robot racing track.
Throughout the event, the team at RS were able to answer the real-life questions that manufacturers have today in the world of Industry 4.0.
The RS booth, perfectly placed at the entrance, was awarded best stand at the show.
Scott Philbrook, MD ANZ, said the event was a good representation of the industry in 2022. “There was a good mix of new technologies and proven manufacturing methods paired with the big brands that support this industry,” He explained. “We really enjoyed being part of this flagship event in Sydney.”
The event also marked the launch of the RS PRO & Engineers Without Borders Australia (EWB) Student Sustainability Competition. Currently, a call out is being undertaken for university students/groups currently working on engineering projects who want to take their ideas to the next level.
RS PRO and Engineers Without Borders Australia are asking these students/groups to enter their concepts into the competition.
The prizes are one of five product packs worth $3,000 which includes RS PRO components, tools, and accessories tailored to the project. The five winners will be announced later in the year.
