Changes to RS small order delivery charges

Reducing our carbon footprint is a critical element of our ESG plan. Minimising the number of individual packages being delivered across the globe is a central part of achieving our objectives. By moving most of our inter-company freight from air to sea, we have reduced our CO2 emissions across our APAC region by 22% in the last quarter alone. But we want to do more so on 1st August we will be introducing a small delivery charge for all orders under a certain value, which you see below (including consolidating your smaller orders into a single order). RS is also investing a portion of these freight charges to support some of our amazing ESG initiatives, including the recent global partnerships we have announced with Engineers Without Borders and The Machine Project. Next working day delivery is for all orders placed Monday - Friday before 3:30 pm for ANZ stock.
We will aim to deliver your order the next working day between 8 am - 5 pm.

For RS Business Customers with a valid NZBN:

Online orders

Enjoy FREE delivery for orders over $70 (ex GST).  ^For orders under $70, there is a charge of $9.95.

Offline orders (telephone, email or fax)

Enjoy FREE delivery for orders over $125 (ex GST). ^For orders under $125, there is a charge of $9.95.

For all other customers (private or non RS business account holders), a charge of $18.50 will apply for all orders under $150 (whether placed online or offline).

Exclusions:

  1. Global Stock & Extended Range Products are excluded from the Next Working Day Delivery service, normal delivery times are 5 - 10 workings days.
  2. Orders containing Hazardous products and/or products weighing or having a cubic weight over 20kgs and/or a length over 1.5 metres have the below extended delivery times:
    1. 5-10 business workings days for Australian Stock
    2. Up to 30 business working days for large, heavy or hazardous Global Stock products
    3. Up to 77 days for Global Stock Lithium Batteries (excluding products with Lithium Batteries included within the product)
  3. Further lead time restrictions may apply in some regional areas for Global products, contact Customer Service on 0800 888 780 for more information.
  4. Non-core products may have longer lead times. Contact us for details. 

Consolidated Delivery
