Does this fan use ball bearings or sleeve bearings?

A ceramic bearing is provided which has been tested to be both, a cost-effective build and longer-lasting than a standard ball or sleeve bearing fan. Highlights include the quiet and smooth operation and virtually static-free due to very low friction.

What kind of safety features are available with this fan?

As standard with this range of ARX axial fans, reverse voltage protection is provided which ensures there is no damaging or potentially dangerous outcomes from an electrical surge.

What is an Axial Fan?

An axial fan is a type of fan commonly used within everyday applications, such as air conditioners and computers. It causes both, air and gas (depending on the application) to flow directly through it in an axial direction at different speeds. Allowing the airflow to be axial and both entry and exit. The most common versions tend to have fewer impeller blades than conventional duct fans or centrifugal fans which have similar operations.

Note

The lead lengths range between 245mm ± 10mm and 295mm ± 10mm. Red is positive, black is negative. The output wire is either white or yellow (if fitted). The O/P wire is connected only if a user wants to measure the speed of the fan (1 revolution gives 1 pulsed output signal generally).
