How do I calculate the rating of this fuse?


You can use Ohm's law to calculate this fuse's rating. Simply divide the power of the connected component (measured in watts) by the voltage of the power supply (measured in volts).

How do I test this fuse?


You can test this fuse using a multimeter. Simply put the meter in continuity mode and place its probes on both ends of the fuse. A low resistance reading shows there's continuous current flow and the fuse is functional. If there's a high resistance reading, your fuse has blown.

Class gL-gG and aM fuse links are intended for industrial applications. All industrial fuse links are available with an operated visible fuse indicator.

This range of cylindrical cartridge fuses is available in a wide selection of physical sizes and current ratings for applications where the system voltage rating is 400, 500 and 690 Volts AC.

What is Breaking Capacity?

Breaking capacity is the level of current that the fuse can safely handle without exploding or breaking. The breaking capacity of your fuse should be greater than the fault current of your electronic circuit.
