Where would you use a pneumatic drain valve?
Pneumatic drain valves are commonly found on compressed air tanks. When compressed air is cooled condensation collects in the bottom of the tank and must be removed. Draining this condensate is a necessity to prevent water from getting into the system drain lines, air tools, and prevent the development of corrosion.
How do you service a pneumatic drain valve?
The RS RPO pneumatic drain valve is relatively simple to service when the timer, drain hose, and auto drain are disassembled. Using air or a lubricant like WD40 to remove the dirt and debris will ensure the device is working as it should be.
Note: The cleaning process should always be carried out by a qualified engineer.
