Silver steel features high amounts of both chrome, for an aesthetically pleasing shine, and carbon, for noticeable toughness, so it's an ideal material for punches, pinions and gauges. This rod is also ground to a tolerance of +0/-0.015 mm, making it well suited for use in applications which need a high level of accuracy.
