This conductive copper foil tape from 3M is an ideal choice when you need to bond two surfaces together both electrically and physically. Use it for electromagnetic shielding, grounding or static charge draining. Its operating temperature range of -40°C to +130°C means it'll maintain performance in environments where other tapes would come unstuck. Tensile strength of 44N/cm gives this tape durability, making it suitable for use in hard-to-reach areas. The double-coated conductive adhesive means it can serve as an excellent conductive gasket.

What kind of applications is conductive copper tape suitable for?
Copper tape that uses a conductive adhesive is only suitable for low-current applications, as the adhesive isn't designed to carry a high current. You can use copper tape to create a container, known as a Faraday cage, that'll protect what's inside it from external electrical fields – for example, in an electric guitar to protect the components from unwanted electronic feedback.
