The Infineon 3D Hall effect sensor can be configured by the microcontroller. The measurement data is provided in digital format to the microcontroller. The microcontroller is the master and the sensor is the slave. The sensor also provides the functionality to Wake Up a sleeping system. It required very low system power consumption due to Wake Up mode resulting in extended battery runtime. Disturbance of smaller stray fields are neglectable compared to the high magnetic flux measurement range.
