Motor Driver IC SO-28

The smart high current micro stepping driver for bipolar stepper motors provides an SPI interface as well as the classical analog or digital control. With up to 4A coil current and a range of protection and diagnostic features, this device is extremely rugged and efficient, all while allowing high motor currents without need for additional cooling measures.

Capable of driving external MOSFETs for up to 4A
Supports 16 times micro stepping via SPI and up to 64 times with additional shift register
Offers mixed decay operation for smooth performance
