This Festo silencer is ultra-lightweight to maximise efficiency while providing powerful muffling properties. It's well-suited for use with a solenoid valve in your compressed air system, where it helps to reduce exhaust noise when venting pneumatic pipes. It can lessen sound by 60 dBA to improve the comfort and safety levels of personnel. It also acts as a filter to prevent grease, dirt and dust from contaminating compressed air and interfering with the working function of your pneumatic system.

This Festo silencer is made from polyethylene (PE), which is a water-resistant and long-lasting polymer. It's also highly resistant to heat and performs well in both high and low temperature environments.

The silencer is attached directly to the exhaust port of a valve and works by diffusing the valve's exhaust air over a larger surface area. This reduces turbulence and decreases noise levels.
