LMZ20501/02 Buck Converter Evaluation Kits


Two evaluation modules from Texas Instruments to demonstrate the performance of the LMZ20501 & LMZ20502 Simple Switcher® devices. The modules produce an output voltage of 1.8V from an input of 2.7 to 5.5V at a maximum load current of 1A (LMZ20501) or 2A (LMZ20502). Jumpers are provide to select operating mode (constant frequency PWM or load-dependant PFM-PWM switching) and Enable, plus a header for the connection of a network analyser to measure regulator loop response. The modules demonstrate excellent power conversion efficiency, output voltage accuracy, line and load regulation, and load transient behaviour.
