This pitot tube from Testo allows for the accurate measurement of air or liquid pressure in pipes, ducts or weirs. The tube is made from high-quality stainless steel, which offers excellent chemical and corrosion resistance. How does a pitot tube work?


A pitot tube works according to a basic principle of fluid mechanics: if a fluid stops flowing, its kinetic energy is converted into pressure energy. The tube works by assisting in measuring the pressure energy of stopped fluid at any point in a pipe or channel.
