The Phoenix Contact surge protection device is designed to provide fine surge protection in a 9positions. D-SUB plug for PROFIBUS-DP applications with a transmission speed of up to 12 Mbps. It offers space-saving solutions directly at the interface and can be used in applications up to 12 Mbps with adapted protective circuits. The device also allows for adjustment of the transmission properties with a switchable termination resistor.
