Introducing the range of RS PRO Bimetal Thermostat Switches, ideal for regulating the temperature inside devices or objects that require temperature management like electrical appliances. The switch is designed with a temperature-sensitive bimetallic disc that is the actuator for the thermally and electrically isolated contacts which open when the ambient or surface temperature increases to the operating snap point of the metal disc.

Thermostat sensors or switches are mechanisms that are designed to offer protection from electrical devices when the temperature increases or from overheating and are widely used as a method of temperature control and management. There are several different switch variations that activate a valve or thermal switch, but the most common method is by allowing the contacts of the switch to open when the ambient or surface temperature increases and reaches the snap point of the switch.
