Redel (Plastic)
LEMO quality, durability and characteristics are designed into these high specification plastic connectors. Utilising the classic push-pull self latching mechanism they cannot be disconnected with an accidental pull of the cable. The housing is Polysulphone which is very rugged, lightweight and UL certified, with a flammability rating of UL94V - 0. They may also be sterilised by gas or steam up to 20 times. Contacts are gold plated over copper and nickel to ensure at least 1000 mating cycles without significantly affecting the electrical characteristics. Four different colour coding variations are available. Termination is by solder and cable plugs are supplied with built-in collet to take cable diameters from 4mm to 5·2mm.
