3M Scotch-Brite Precision Series Grinding Disc, 100mm Disc Diameter, P150 Grit size - 7100274669

This grinding disc is a bright, medium-grit abrasive designed to condition and finish metal surfaces in industrial settings. It combines precision-shaped grain with a non-woven web to deliver consistent cutting action and a controlled surface finish for stainless steel and other common substrates. Supplied in packs of 25, it is compatible with hook-and-loop and Roloc™ style attachments and is suitable for low-pressure operations across automation, electronics, electrical and mechanical workflows.

Features & Benefits

• Precision-shaped grain gives Faster cut and extended life
• Rated to 15,000 r/min for high-speed rotary use
• Medium P150 grit balances material removal and finish
• 7/8 in bore fits standard right-angle tool spindles
• Non-woven construction prevents dimensional change to the workpiece

Applications

• Suitable for deburring stainless steel edges in assemblies
• Ideal for preparing weld seams on carbon and stainless steels
• Used for surface blending on aluminium components
• Can be used for finishing in electrical enclosure fabrication
• Suitable for maintenance tasks in automation equipment

What attachment methods are compatible with this disc?

It accepts hook-and-loop and Roloc™ type mounts, allowing quick fitting to handheld and bench grinders.

How is abrasive life affected during continuous operation?

The precision-shaped grain maintains cutting action longer than conventional grains, reducing dressing frequency in continuous use.

Which substrates are appropriate beyond stainless steel?

The disc performs on soft metals, carbon steel and aluminium in low-pressure finishing applications.

How is identification simplified in busy workshops?

Bright colouring differentiates the medium grit visually for Rapid selection among other abrasives.
