ABB Shunt Trip, 12V to 60V AC/DC Rated Control Voltage, 0.133kg Weight - S2C Series - 2CDS200909R0001

Shut down your system in a flash to keep people and equipment safe with this shunt trip from ABB. It's used along with S200-series MCBs and DS200-series RCBOs to stop power running to machinery in the event of an electrical fault. By applying a voltage to the shunt trip, you can open the MCB or RCBO remotely, giving you central control of this safety function across your setup.

Features & Benefits

• Wide operating voltage range of 12 to 60V AC/DC for versatile use
• Light weight of 133g minimises mechanical strain on your system
• Manual switch makes resetting simple

Applications

• Lighting systems
• Cutting machines
• Catering industry

What are MCBs and RCBOs?

MCBs and RCBOs are are electrical devices that enhance safety by interrupting the circuit in the event of a fault. MCBs (miniature circuit breakers) protect circuits and electrical equipment from overcurrents, such as short circuits and overloads, preventing fires and equipment damage. RCBOs (residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection) combine the functions of an MCB with those of a residual current device, offering protection against both overcurrents and earth leakage currents.
