FTDI Chip FT2232H Mini-Module

The FTDI Chip FT2232H Mini-Module is a USB to Serial/FIFO development tool featuring the FT2232H device. The FT2232H is a USB 2.0 to UART/FIFO chip.
The FT2232H Mini-Module is ideal for rapidly integrating USB into existing electronic circuits. It can also be used to prototype your ideas and designs incorporating a USB interface, or as a USB to multi-port interfaces. The FT2232H has two interfaces which are configured for asynchronous or synchronous serial or parallel FIFO interfaces. The two channels can also be independently configured to use an MPSSE engine.

How does it connect?
The FT2232H has two 26-pin dual row headers which enable you to connect to PBC headers and ribbon cables, quickly and easily.

How is it powered?
The FT2232H Mini-Module is USB powered. There is no need for an additional external power supply.

What are the serial data transfer rates?
Asynchronous Serial data transfer rates from 300 baud to 12 Mbaud at TTL levels
Synchronous Serial (MPSSE) data rates of up to 30Mbps on JTAG, SPI and I2C
