Textool™ series 2.54mm universal ZIF DIP sockets which incorporate a lever actuated zero insertion force mechanism to reduce damage to device leads. These Textool universal DIP sockets provide a test and burn-in interface for dual in-line packages with a 2.54mm pin spacing and feature an extra wide contact zone enabling the insertion of DIPs with a distance between rows from 7.62mm to 15.24mm. The socket contact point of these Textool universal DIP sockets is 2.29mm below the top surface of the socket
