Belden BE43802 Series Ethernet Cable, 500m Cable Length, Blue Jacket - BE43802.00500

This ethernet cable is a shielded Cat7 network cable designed for high-performance data transmission in demanding environments. It incorporates a low smoke zero halogen outer jacket and a stranded copper conductor to provide enhanced signal integrity and safer fire behaviour. The cable is intended for installations where screened transmission and elevated temperature tolerance are required.

Features and Benefits:

• Stranded conductor for improved flexibility during installation
• 36 AWG 19-strand cores for fine conductor routing and bend performance
• Shielded screened construction to reduce external interference
• Rated to +90°C for sustained operation in hot environments
• Low smoke zero halogen jacket to limit toxic emissions and obscuration

Applications

• Suitable for industrial rail communications and signalling systems
• Ideal for confined-space network cabling with fire-safety requirements
• Used for screened backbone connections in transportation sectors
• Can be used for long-run structured LAN deployments up to 500m
• Appropriate for installations requiring 300V rated cable supplies

What conductor material and configuration does it use?

It uses stranded copper conductors arranged as eight cores with 19 strands per core.

How does the construction address electromagnetic interference?

The cable includes an overall screen and individual shielding to suppress external noise on each pair.

What environmental temperature range can it operate within?

It is specified for use between -40°C and +90°C.

Which standards does it meet for safety and performance?

It complies with IEC 60332 series, IEC 61156-5, EN 50173-1 Ed.3, EN 45545-2, DIN 5510-2, and related EN/ISO specifications.

What is the cable outer diameter and length supplied?

The cable has an outside diameter of 8.1mm and is supplied in a 500m length.
