Belden Cat6 Ethernet Cable, 23AWG - 7812E

This Cat6 Ethernet cable from Belden serves as a data transfer channel for your computers and communication devices. It has eight conductors made of copper material, meaning it delivers a reliable connection. Each conductor is covered in PE (polyethylene) material to offer insulation and protect you from electric shocks. The conductors are also twisted in pairs to prevent crosstalk and electromagnetic interference (EMI) for noiseless transmission. This 7812E.00B100 Belden networking cable comes in a reel and can be easily cut down to size. The 328ft 4-pair cable supports current category 5, category 5 enhanced and future category 6 applications, such as 10 Base-T, 100 Base-T, 1000 Base-T (Gigabit Ethernet), FDDI and ATM.

Features & Benefits

• Low mutual capacitance of 56pF/m for high integrity signals

• Grey flame-retardant PVC outer jacket

• Light bulk cable weight of 41kg/km for easy handling

• Broad operating temperature range of -30°C to +60°C for use in demanding conditions

• Data transfer rate of 1000Mbps for high-speed transmission

• Unterminated at both ends for versatility

• 72V Voltage Rating

• 80nF/km nominal mutual capacitance at 1kHz

• 1.5A maximum recommended current

Applications

• Horizontal and building backbone cable

• Data banks

• Surveillance centres

Why are the conductor insulators on this cable colour coded?

The conductors on this cable are colour coded to make them easily identifiable when crimping them to a connector. They can be used for straight-through, rollover or crossover connections.
