The EDC PROTECTION Metallic green polycarbonate visor with gold foil measures 500 x 250 x 1 mm and features a green-tinted polycarbonate base with a gold foil coating. The gold layer reflects radiant heat to reduce heat transfer, while the green tint helps minimize glare. Both the backing and the gold layer filter infrared and UV rays. A protective varnish enhances the gold layer's mechanical resistance to scratches. It offers radiant heat resistance up to 135°C continuously; for higher temperatures, a mineral glass screen is recommended. The visor can be mounted using the 9100 lift bar and 9020 headband. The AUGENSEIT marking indicates the side facing the eyes. Available in shade 5 from stock and shade 3 on order, also offered with a chin back.
