The Amphenol NEXUS Technologies watertight breakaway jack features 7 conductors and is designed for ruggedized commercial and military applications. It has an overall diameter of 0.859 and a length of 2.266. The jack uses insulation-piercing contact types and an aluminum shell with black anodize plating as standard or black chrome for shielded versions. It supports an engagement force of up to 14 lb. and a disengagement force between 8 to 12 lb. With a mating cycle durability of 5000, it operates within a temperature range of -55 to 85 ºC. The jack has a contact current capacity of 3 A and a contact resistance of less than or equal to 150 mV.
