ITT Cannon Circular Connector

The ITT Cannon Sure-Seal series black 3-contacts male circular connector has a plug-type connection. This cable mount connector has a voltage rating of 400VAC and a current rating of up to 8A per contact. It is made from nitrile-butadiene rubber with tin-plated copper alloy contacts. It is a simple, one-piece moulded body means that no other parts, apart from the contacts that are required to complete the connection. This connector is coupled with resistance to brake fluid, anti-freeze, fuels and the steam cleaning enables the connector to be used in any harsh environment area of the vehicle.

IP67 ITT Sure-Seal and Mini Sure-Seal

Developed to meet the increased requirements for safety and reliability in the automotive field these sealed connectors satisfy all of the parameters defined by automotive/industrial standards covering such areas as vibration, shock, saltwater spray, industrial gas, low milliVolt drop and low contact resistance.

The plugs and receptacles are polarised to prevent mismating, using 2 stepped planes on each of the mating faces, which must be properly oriented for the contacts to engage

The mated connectors are IP67 rated and sealing integrity is still maintained with exposure to brake fluid, gasoline, diesel fuel, anti-freeze, ultra-violet, ozone and steam cleaning under normal operating conditions

Cable Boots, to seal the wired cable jacket to the connector housing are available and must be ordered separately.
