The Advantech serial device server is designed to seamlessly connect RS-422/485 serial devices to an IP-based Ethernet LAN, ensuring network reliability and compatibility with legacy systems.
Supports up to 921.6 kbps and any baud rate setting
Features two independent Ethernet ports with MAC addresses for network redundancy
Built-in 15-kV ESD protection for all serial signals
Allows a maximum of 16 hosts to connect in TCP client mode
Enables COM port redirection, TCP, and UDP operation modes
