VEGAPULS WL61 Water Radar

VEGAPULS WL61 is a non-contact radar sensor. The VEGAPULS WL61 works in various conditions like rain, wind and fog. The radar level sensor is si suitable for use outside as it is unaffected by changes in air movement or changing temperature pressures. The radar sensor works using microwave pulses which are emitted on a short pulse lasting approximately 1 ns. When these pulses are returned by the reflected medium as echoes and measured. The VEGAPULS WL61 is designed for use within the water industry. Within the water industry the non-contact radar sensor can be used to measure rivers, reservoirs, canals, overflow basins or levels within pumping shafts.

Vega Radar Level Sensor

The Vega radar level sensor has Profibus PA, Foundation Fieldbus and 4mA to 20mA HART - two-wire output. It is an affordable and versatile radar sensor for continuous level measurement of water and sewage. It has many great features, including a measuring range of 15m. This radar sensor delivers exact measurements with an accuracy of ±2mm.
