The RS PRO Gate Valve Lockout features polyurethane construction of the valve cover ensuring resistance to cracking and abrasion, providing long-term performance in industrial environments. It features a rotating locking mechanism that allows the cover to rotate freely around the valve hand wheel after being locked, preventing unauthorized operation. The padlock-ready design includes holes compatible with standard lockout hasps and padlocks for single or multiple user lockouts. Its knockout centre design accommodates OS and Y (rising stem) valves, securing the valve in the closed position to prevent accidental reactivation during maintenance. This cover enhances safety and compliance with LOTO (Lockout Tagout) protocols for mechanical isolation procedures.
