The Chauvin Arnoux CA5231 true RMS digital Multimeters are ideal for the needs of electrical installers, self-employed electricians and heating or air-conditioning specialists. Compact and simple, they are exceptionally easy to read thanks to their large backlit display including a bargraph count of 6,000. Their built-in shockproof protection also makes them rugged instruments.

There are two "Off" positions for greater effectiveness, including one which allows no-contact voltage detection. The screen lights up when near to a live cable. If it is hooked up to a current clamp, it can measure currents up to 600 A in total safety.

The Chauvin Arnoux CA5231 is designed for carrying out general electrical measurements, enabling users to test AC/DC voltage (this includes LowZ voltage), AC/DC current, resistance and tests continuity and diode.
