Siemens I/O Module For Use With LOGO! 8 and LOGO! 8.2 Series, Digital, 5A Output Current - 6ED1055-1HB00-0BA2

Connect more machines to your control system with this Siemens digital I/O module. As it adds four extra digital inputs and outputs to your PLC, it gives you the ability to automate more basic machine functions. Compact dimensions of 35.5 (width) by 90 (height) and 58mm (depth) mean the unit mounts easily onto busy controllers for convenient expansion of your setup. By achieving up to 10 mechanical switching cycles a second, the relay outputs provide reliable appliance control under intense use. Each of these outputs has a switching power rating of 1,000W to handle the demanding electrical loads typical of heavy-duty industrial hardware.

• 24V AC/DC voltage rating for easy compatibility with common power connections
• Low input delays between 1.5 and 15ms for a quick response to sudden changes
• For safety, IP20 rating indicates protection against objects over 12mm, including fingers
• Wide operating temperature range between 0°C and +55°C for use in harsh industrial conditions

How much current do the inputs draw on this I/O module?

Each of the device's digital inputs draws between 1.1 and 5.5mA of current, so power usage is minimal.
