G3PA-260B-VD DC5-24 SSR – Solid State Relay with Replaceable Power Cartridge.

The design of the heat sink provides a smaller SSR – solid state relay with easily maintained replaceable element cartridges. The relays are applicable with 3-phase loads. The G3PA series of SSR – solid state relays can be DIN rail mounted or mounted using screws.

Features and Benefits of G3PA-260B-VD DC5-24 SSR –Solid state relay.

• Phototriac coupler.
• Zero cross function.
• Indicator.
• Rated output load 60 A at 24 to 240 V ac.
• Rated input voltage 5 to 24 V dc.

Do not close mount this model of the SSR – Solid state relay.

SSR – Solid state relay Input Rating at 25°C ambient.

• Operating voltage range 4 to 30 V dc.
• Input current impedance 7 mA max.
• Must operate voltage 4 V dc max.
• Must release voltage 1 V dc.

SSR – Solid state relay Output.

• Rated load voltage 24 to 240 V ac, 50 / 60 Hz.
• Load current 0.5 to 60 A at 40°C.
• Inrush current 440 A, 60 Hz, 1 cycle.
• VDRM 600 V.

The zero-cross switching feature significantly reduces electromagnetic interference, enhancing system stability and prolonging the lifespan of connected components.

Additional Features G3PA-260B-VD DC5-24 SSR – Solid State Relay.

• Operate and release time of load power source cycle + 1 ms max (DC models). 1 pf load power source cycle + 1 ms max (AC input).
• Output ON voltage drop 4.6 V (RMS) max.
• Leakage current 10 mA max at 100 V ac, 20 mA max at 200 V ac.
• Vibration resistance – destruction – 10 to 55 to 10 Hz, 0.375 mm single amplitude mounted to a DIN rail.
• Shock resistance – destruction – 300 m/s² mounted to a DIN rail.
• Operating temperature – ambient - -30°C to 80°C. No icing or condensation.
• Screw terminal.
• Relay weight 900 g.

While it is designed to work with high current applications, it is crucial to adhere to the specified load ratings to ensure optimal performance and prevent overheating.

Replacing the SSR – Solid state relay cartridge.

• Turn OFF the power supply when replacing a cartridge.
• Damaged cartridges can be replaced without disconnecting the wires.
• If the temperature indicator changes from pink to red triac circuits may be malfunctioning, replace.
• Improve heat radiation efficiency before cartridge replacement.

It can effectively function in extreme conditions, operating at temperatures ranging from -30°C to +80°C, making it suitable for various industrial environments.

What does Zero Cross Function mean in SSR in Solid State Relays?

Zero cross function will allow the relay to turn ON when the AC load power supply approaches 0 V suppressing any noise generated with a sudden load current increase. Zero cross function is effective across 2 types of noise, noise on power lines and noise emitted into open space.

The screw terminal design allows for secure connections, ensuring minimal risk of disconnection during operation due to vibrations or environmental factors.
