The Microchip 4-Mbit SRAM device provides memory access through a simple SPI-compatible serial bus. It uses a clock input (SCK), separate data in (SI), and data out (SO) lines, with access controlled by a Chip Select (CS) input. For faster data transfer, it also supports Serial Dual Interface (SDI) and Serial Quad Interface (SQI).
