RS PRO Nylon Metric Plain Washers
RS PRO range of plain, white, metric nylon washers in sizes M2 to M12. This RS PRO range of nylon washers are generally used with a machine threaded fastener and nut to spread the load over a greater surface area when tightening a bolt, screw or nut. These washers help prevent wear and distortion of installation surfaces over time whilst reducing heat and friction during the tightening process. These nylon washers provide an excellent inexpensive solution between gland and equipment with electrical insulation and good chemical resistance. They are also non-abrasive and lightweight in comparison to metallic washers made from stainless steel and absorb shock and noise better resulting in less noise when used in equipment.
