Sensata Cynergy3 External Horizontal Float Switch, 500mA, 5 Bar - SSF212 Series - SSF212XPM12

Use this versatile horizontal float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 for a range of applications. Its switching action can be reversed simply by mounting the device with the orientation arrow pointing downwards, meaning it can measure both rising and falling liquid levels. The sensor features a stainless steel body, which has excellent resistance to chemical corrosion and moisture for an extended working life. It's a good choice for controlling the liquid level of diesel tanks and other vessels that contain corrosive substances.

Features & Benefits

• Supplied with a 1m cable for a simple electrical connection

• Wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +120°C for use in demanding environments

• Fitted from the outside so it doesn't require access to the inside of a tank

• Hermetically sealed connection that's airtight and durable for improved reliability

What material are the float's electrical conductors made out of?

The cable conductors on this float are made from tinned copper, which is highly resistant to corrosion for long-lasting performance. Its high electrical conductivity ensures a reliable connection to a control device, such as a pump or switching relay.
