cynergy3 Horizontal Float Switches

A simple electro-mechanical device for liquid level switching in high and low-level applications. These float switches consist of a reed switch and a pivoted actuator magnet and can be used for N/O or N/C operation. The switch action can be reversed rotating the switch through 180°.

Features & Benefits

Compact design
304 grade stainless steel stem, ideally suited for use in aggressive environments
316 grade stainless steel float
Works with liquids of SG 0.8 min

Note

Suitable for signal switching and for use with transistorised input/low power, suppressed coil miniature relays. Not suited for any inductive or inrush (e.g. filament lamps) loads.

Sensata Cynergy3 Horizontal Float Switch, Stainless Steel, NO/NC - SSF212 Series - SSF212X100

Looking for a float switch that's suitable for use in harsh environments? This Sensata Cynergy3 float switch has a stem and float made of robust stainless steel material, making it highly durable and resistant to corrosion. The switch is simple to install as there's no need to access the inside of the tank – you can mount it horizontally via a 1/2-in NPT (National Pipe Thread) thread from the outside of the tank. For versatile use, you can change from normally open (NO) to normally closed (NC) operation by mounting the device with the orientation arrow pointing downwards, instead of in the upwards direction.

Features and Benefits

• Length of only 47 mm for use in compact setups
• Wide operating temperature range of -10°C to +120°C for use in a variety of demanding applications
• Cable length of 1 m for ease of connection

What type of load can this switch handle?

The switch is designed for resistive loads only. It's not suitable for use with inductive loads or applications where there's a significant inrush current.
