The SML-01 series of LEDs, from ROHM Semiconductor, are in the 1208 Chip LED package. These rectangular, flat top devices are surface mount (SMT) and have a built in reflector. This reflector allows the SML-01 LEDs to improve the viewing angle and luminous intensity in the forward direction.
